Put your best foot forward and join us this weekend for Milton Keynes’ Walking Festival 2016

Join the Parks Trust staff and volunteers this weekend (Saturday 14th May and Sunday 15th May) for two days of walking events throughout the city for all ages and abilities.
The annual Walking Festival allows you to keep fit and enjoy the beautiful parks that Milton Keynes has to offer.
Walks are still available for a few days and times over the weekend, so book today!

Walk 1: Nordic Walking Taster Session

Walk 2: Oxley Park to Great Horwood Walk
Free; 10am; 6 hours; 10-12 miles – Fully Booked
Walk 3: Ouse Valley and Floodplain Forest Walk
Free; 10am; 1.5 hours; 3 miles
Walk 4: Great Linford Lakes Walk
Free; 10.30am; 3 hours; 6 miles
Walk 5: North Bucks Way to Whaddon Walk
Free; 11am; 3 hours; 4 miles
Walk 6: Woodland Walk

Walk 13: Waterhall Park to Bow Brickhill Walk
£4/person (payable on the day, in aid of British Heart Foundation); 1.30pm; 3 hours; 5.5 miles
Walk 14: Linford Manor Park and Grand Union Canal
£1/person; 3pm; 2 hours; 4 miles
Walk 15: Self Guided Art and Nature Trail
Free; Anytime; Up to 2 hours; 3-4 miles
Julie Dawes, The Parks Trust Events & Recreation Co-ordinator said: “All of the walks will help you discover more about your local area and the specialist walks will encourage you to learn about our parks and woodlands. Try something new and join us on our Woodland Walk and learn about discovering signs of ancient woodland at Howe Park Wood!”
Please note dogs are not allowed on the walks, with the exceptions of walks 2, 8 and 14 where well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
